Life is Wonderful
18 - 20 September 2020
This fascinating new workshop explores the neuroscience of relationships. Often it seems as if we exist immersed in a sort of soup of our lives, emotions and relationships. But what if we could understand how our brain and nervous system actually works?
In fact we are, as a species, in the midst of an epic evolutionary struggle, with on the one hand the old parts of our brains trying to protect us from various paleolithic hazards, and yet on the other hand, our big new brains are attempting to realize cooperation and harmony and love (and safety) from being connected with others. It's a conflict that we need to understand in order to flourish as human beings, and as humanity.
In these unsettling pandemic times we need this knowledge more now than ever.
