BARRY VAUTIER

Barry’s association with Āio WĪra goes back to 1979 and he has been attending fasts here for over 30 years.

​

He has trained as a Naturopath and specialised in Body therapies, having taught massage, anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and Bowen technique for over 24 years.

​

He has attended dozens of personal development courses over 40 years including counselling, group process work and facilitation training. He is involved with Essentially Men for the support and upliftment of men. He treated refugees at the Refugee Resettlement Centre in Mangere for 5 years.

 

Barry is semi-retired in the Coromandel, He is a previous board member and chairperson of the Waitakere Health and Education Trust which oversees the Aio Wira center.
